Checked Baggage

All passengers, including children, are entitled to 20 kg of free checked baggage. It is recommended that no single bag exceeds a weight of 32 kg.

Extra Charges for Excess Baggage

If your baggage exceeds the allowed limit, additional fees will apply. These are calculated based on the weight exceeding the free allowance.

Carry-On Baggage

For safety and comfort on board, each person is allowed to bring one carry-on item. This item may weigh up to 6 kg (or 8 kg if a laptop is included) and must not exceed dimensions of 55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm. It is recommended to carry valuables, medications, and fragile items in your carry-on baggage. Additional liability information can be found in your booking confirmation.

Fees for Excess Baggage

The maximum allowed baggage amount is stated on your ticket. If your baggage exceeds this limit, it will be classified as excess baggage and subject to charges. The fees depend on the number of extra items or their weight, according to the applicable fare structure.

Baggage Loss and Damage

In most cases, lost baggage is located within 24 hours. If your baggage is missing for more than five days, the Lost and Found office will conduct a thorough search. For unresolved cases or further assistance, please contact our baggage center in Bern.
