Prohibited Items in Baggage
To ensure the safety of all passengers and comply with international security standards, certain items are not allowed in carry-on or checked luggage. These prohibited items include:
- Luggage with integrated alarm systems, such as briefcases
- Explosive substances, including fireworks and signal flares
- Gas cartridges, such as those for camping or pepper spray
- Flammable liquids like lighter fluid, paints, or solvents
- Easily ignitable materials, including matches
- Substances that release flammable gases upon contact with water
- Oxidizing chemicals, such as bleach and peroxides
- Toxic or infectious materials, like mercury or biological samples
- Radioactive materials or devices
- Corrosive chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, or wet batteries
- Objects with strong magnetic properties
- Tools or equipment that have been in contact with fuel, even if only minimal traces remain
