Prohibited Items in Baggage

To ensure the safety of all passengers and comply with international security standards, certain items are not allowed in carry-on or checked luggage. These prohibited items include:

  • Luggage with integrated alarm systems, such as briefcases
  • Explosive substances, including fireworks and signal flares
  • Gas cartridges, such as those for camping or pepper spray
  • Flammable liquids like lighter fluid, paints, or solvents
  • Easily ignitable materials, including matches
  • Substances that release flammable gases upon contact with water
  • Oxidizing chemicals, such as bleach and peroxides
  • Toxic or infectious materials, like mercury or biological samples
  • Radioactive materials or devices
  • Corrosive chemicals, such as acids, alkalis, or wet batteries
  • Objects with strong magnetic properties
  • Tools or equipment that have been in contact with fuel, even if only minimal traces remain
